I've bought more expensive brands, but this one beats them on comfort. The stitching is heavy-duty and the metal hardware is heavy (in a good way). For $34, this is a steal. Getting another one for my backup collar.
The handle is padded and easy to grab. My dog gets reactive around other dogs, and having that handle right there gives me instant control without hurting my hands. The 1.7-inch width really helps control his head movement too.
I love that the size adjustment is all velcro. You can get the exact fit you need down to the millimeter, unlike holes or sliders that are always too loose or too tight. The velcro is super wide and strong, it doesn't slip at all.
The 'scuba fabric' lining is the real deal. It��s thick and spongy, not scratchy like raw nylon. My Doberman has short hair and sensitive skin, and this is the first tactical collar that hasn't rubbed his neck raw.
I was skeptical about the hook buckle at first, but it's actually way better than the standard clips. Once it's hooked in and the velcro is secured, it��s impossible for it to pop open. It takes 2 seconds to put on and feels rock solid.
